West Wimmera Shire Council is recruiting for a Chief Financial Officer to join our senior management team. Reporting to the Director Corporate and Community Services, we are seeking a capable and strategic leader with extensive experience in corporate and financial management. An understanding of the unique context of regional and rural communities would be a particular advantage, as would the ability to partner effectively with senior management to drive a culture of best-practice financial accountability and understanding.
The Chief Financial Officer will be CPA/CA or IPA qualified and have experience in supervising, training, mentoring and developing staff. This is an opportunity to make a key contribution to Council's strategic vision and to work collaboratively as we further advance our organisational culture and success.
