The Day of the Dackel is a fun-filled event celebrating dachshunds and their enthusiastic owners. Held at Henley Park in Edenhope, this event welcomes dog lovers, families, and the local community for a day of racing, entertainment, and market stalls.

Event schedule

  • Gates open at 9 am
  • Dog show starts at 10.15 am
  • Racing begins after lunch

Entry Information

  • Dachshund and small dog race entry is $15 per dog, with multiple event participation allowed
  • The Hobby Dachshund Race for kids under 12 is free
  • The winner of the Dackel Dash Final will receive a $150 cash prize
