Harrow Bush Nursing Centre is proud to host two vital youth driver training programs this July, helping to build safer drivers through hands-on education and expert guidance.
Austdrive 1 – Beginner Driver Program
Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 July 2025
8:30am – 4:30pm each day
Harrow Bush Nursing Centre
Ideal for beginners aged 16 and up, Austdrive 1 offers a comprehensive introduction to defensive driving. With both theory and practical components, participants will learn essential skills including safe steering, braking techniques, wildlife awareness, hazard perception, and emergency avoidance. This course is suitable for learner drivers (with a supervising driver) and anyone new behind the wheel.
Cost: $80 per person
Minimum age: 16 | One vehicle required per participant

Austdrive 2 – Youth Driver Awareness Program

8:30am – 4:30pm
Harrow Bush Nursing Centre
Austdrive 2 is tailored for probationary and full licence holders aged 18–25. This advanced, practical road training focuses on real-world skills including hazard identification, rural and adverse condition driving, braking techniques, safe cornering, and driver readiness. One instructor per vehicle, with options for 1 to 3 participants to train together.
Cost: $880 for up to 3 participants
Minimum: P plate licence | One vehicle required per participant
