The Harrow Bush Nursing Centre is hosting a special #OK2SAYNO event. This free event is aimed at promoting mateship, choice, and support, with a focus on empowering rural communities to make positive choices around alcohol and other substances.
The keynote speaker will be Shanna Whan AM, Australian of the Year (Local Hero), CEO and founder of the rural charity Sober in the Country (SITC). Shanna is known for her raw, honest, and hilarious talks, and will lead a Q&A session following her presentation.
Free pizza will be provided after the talk, and both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the hall. The event is suitable for people aged 12 and above.
